Farmers' market or Mercadillo?
On the Farmers' markets (Mercado Agrario) sells produce from the island, including fruit, vegetables, goat cheese, mojo, and pastries. Mercadillos In the holiday resorts, they offer more handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, and souvenirs.
Early arrival is worth it
In the morning, the selection is at its largest and the sun is still pleasant. Many stalls are already closing down before the official end.
Have cash on hand
Not all stalls accept cards. Small bills and a separate shopping bag make the market visit more relaxed.

Almost every day somewhere on Fuerteventura a market takes place. The Weekly markets in holiday resorts such as Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma and Morro Jable usually called Mercadillo and offer handicrafts, jewelry, clothing and souvenirs. On the Farmers' markets as in the Mercado Agrario in Puerto del Rosario The producers on the island sell fruit and vegetables, the famous Majorero goat cheese, mojo and pastries. Markets such as the Market of Traditions in La Oliva or the market in Lajares combine both with traditional craftsmanship.
