The Chilegua Trail leads through the remote valleys between La Pared and Chilegua, landscapes that even many island residents do not know. The start and finish is the Plaza de La Pared; the race takes place on trails and paths in the south of the municipality of Pájara. The race is dedicated to nature experiences and sustainability and holds the Green Card of the International Trail Running Association.
Routes: Half 25 km (start 9:00 am), promo 11 km as well as Mini and Hiking 7 km (start 9:30 am), Spar Kids children's race 1 km (start 9:45 am).
Process on Saturday: Start number collection 7:30 to 8:45 on the Plaza. From 10:00 a.m., Village Chilegua with workshops, stands and a children's area; 12:45 p.m. awards ceremony; 13:00 p.m. live music with Mejor con Copas; 14:30 p.m. closing.
The day before, Friday 9 October: Runner’s fair Village Chilegua from 16:00 to 20:30 on the Plaza de La Pared with start number distribution, presentation and safety briefing.
Spectators are welcome, especially at the finish line and at the awards ceremony on the Plaza. Registration, regulations and directions can be found on the official website.
