At Playa de Gran Tarajal, a historical reenactment of the attack by English corsairs on October 12, 1740 is being performed. The reenactment depicts the landing of the corsairs on the coast and their journey through the Barranco towards Tuineje, which served as a route of escape at the time. The event is part of the Fiesta San Miguel Arcángel in Tuineje.
